On Wednesday 14th August 100 of us braved the bad weather, hopped on the mini buses/coach and travelled to Blackpool Zoo for this week’s Wacky Wednesday. Unfortunately the rain was really heavy but it didn’t stop us from having a fantastic day. As we were watching the sea lion show the sun began to shine, just as we were getting ready to head home!
Despite the bad weather we have had nothing but positive feedback from this trip and parents are requesting that we do another later in the year. The children showed excitement during the ride home telling us what they had seen and enjoyed the most during their day at the zoo.
We would like to thank all our families for making these event’s so successful and to the children for being so well behaved. We wouldn’t be able to host such fun events if it wasn’t for the people in our local area!
